IN NEED OF A HAND?

Sometimes we're just down on our luck or our bodies don't work like they used to. Helping Hands OV is here for you. See the list of some of the small job support we offer. Don't see what you need there? That's ok. Feel free to tell us your need and we will see if we can match it with a skilled professional. Apply for a hand in the form below and you will be contacted if matched. All services come at little to no cost to you. Some costs may be included for the price of materials needed to complete your small job and you will reimburse the Helping Hands OV Volunteer you have been matched with directly. We're just good people trying to help good people. If the job is too big - we will let you know either before or upon inspection.

GARDENER

Need weeds pulled, bushes trimmed or your lawns mowed? Any small gardening task would be our pleasure.

ELECTRICIAN

Changing light bulbs, replacing batteries, fixing that switch that just doesn't work. Small electrical jobs are the highlight of our day!

PLUMBER

Leakey faucet, dripping shower head or unclogging that pesky drain. We go with the flow for nearly any small plumbing job.

HANDYMAN

Need to reattach that fallen fence post, hang pictures, install that simple appliance you already have? We hammer down on any small handyman job.

HOUSE CLEANER

No deep cleaning here, but we would love to help you tidy up where we can. Help put away dishes, pull out and help fold your laundry or any small cleaning task.

MECHANIC

Can't afford an oil change this month, tires need air? Our car gurus are happy to get dirty in any small car job they can.

ANIMAL HELPER

Can't forget our 4 legged friends. Does Fluffy need a walk or a bath and you just can't keep up with him? We're itching to help any small animal task.

HELPER

Need someone to unload your groceries, grab that photo album from the top shelf or any other small job you can think of. Let us know how we can help.

Helping Hands OV volunteers may not be able to complete or execute the small job requested as it may be out of their scope. If this occurs, the request-ant should seek further professional help outside of the HHOV scope.

Helping Hands OV volunteers are only required to attempt to complete the small job requested, and nothing more.

Any payments owed to a Helping Hans OV volunteer are to be paid in full at the time of service once a receipt of materials purchase cost is given to the request-ant of the small job. If not paid in full, volunteers have ability to independently take legal action for reimbursement.
