Helping Hands OV is dedicated to serving low-income, elderly, disabled, and veteran neighbors by providing small acts of service that make a big difference. Our mission is simple:

Our Start
Helping Hands OV began in the very end of 2019 with something simple—a tired single mom, an overgrown lawn, and one kind neighbor who stepped in to mow it. That small act of kindness sparked a bigger idea: if one simple gesture could bring so much hope, what if neighbors checked on each other more often?

From that moment, Helping Hands OV was born with a clear mission: to connect our community, one hand at a time.

We’re a 100% volunteer-run nonprofit that brings people together to lend a hand where it’s needed most—whether that’s delivering food, creating holiday magic for kids and seniors, or helping with small household tasks that make life easier. Because sometimes, the biggest impact comes from the smallest act of kindness. You don't need a lot to give, you just have to have a lot of heart.
